Giant mandala design brass hoop earrings
Sri Yantra and it's meanings:
"The worship of the Sri Chakra is central to the Shri Vidya system of Hindu worship. Four isosceles triangles with the apices upwards, represent Shiva or the Masculine. Five isosceles triangles with the apices downward, symbolising female embodiment Shakti. Thus the Sri Yantra also represents the union of Masculine and Feminine Divine. Because it is composed of nine triangles, it is known as the Navayoni Chakra"
Diameter of these hoops is 7 cm approx. Material is solid brass with a gold shiny overlay, it is nickel and lead safe.
Please note that the gauge of these is slightly thicker than usual so ideally can be worn through tunnels or an ear lobe that is used to wearing earrings.
Does brass tarnish?
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and will naturally tarnish when exposed to oxygen. Some people like the patina of tarnished brass and the tarnish is actually a protective layer for the brass, but if you want to get the shine of the new brass it's pretty easy to do with some typical household products or steel wool
Please note that as the item is handmade every one is unique so it could vary slightly from picture.
